University of Miami

Before becoming a health coach, I acquired a B.S. in Exercise Physiology & M.S. in Clinical & Applied Exercise Physiology from the Department of Kinesiology & Sports Sciences in the School of Education & Human Development at the University of Miami. My university education prepared me for a career in community health & wellness. After graduating, I spent three years working in healthcare as a Cardiac Exercise Physiologist. Through this journey, I found joy in witnessing transformations & expanding access to health information. However, while focusing on health recovery rather than disease prevention I felt a piece of the puzzle missing. Health coaching filled this void, allowing me to advocate & promote wellness as a lifestyle.

Chiang Mai University

During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to spend a semester at the University of Chiang Mai pursuing an Arts & Humanities Cognate. Fascinated by Buddhism & Eastern practices, I spent five months exploring SE Asia. During my travels, I was exposed to meditation, breathing techniques, Auryveda, recommitted to my spiritual practices, & experienced the unique sense of unwavering hospitality in the region. These principles & values were further explored through IIN’s teachings & have come to support my personal & professional practices.
